New Blue Thunder Cylinder Heads

*All Blue Thunder cylinder heads are cast in (Alcoa) A356 aluminum, with a certified T-6 heat treat.

*Stainless Steel shot blast finish, and high quality machined surfaces provide an attractive product.

*All Blue Thunder cylinder heads are pressure checked to a minimum of 60psi.

*Cylinder Head is usable with minor bowl and port clean up (Does not require C&C porting).

*Generous cylinder head port walls allow for C&C porting.

*This cylinder head is designed to be ported to a height of 3.60`` from the head gasket surface.

*Interlocking intake and exhaust seats are standard.

*Supplied with manganese-silicon-aluminum bronze guide undersized .0015`` for a precise valve fit after honing with a Sunnen Dimond hone.

*All guides and seats are thermally pressed using liquid nitrogen to preclude metal displacement.

*Standard features include Time Serts (a threaded solid steel bushing “not a spiral wound wire” that prevents aluminum from stripping). Head bolt seats (prevents head bolt from distorting into aluminum) with 10 Blanchard ground washers allows for superior torque readings.

*Uses 14mm 3/4`` reach peanut-style spark plug.

*Over .650`` Thick deck surface for structural integrity and fly cutting if necessary.

*Used for sportsman drag, sprint car, and circle track racing.

*Chambers in 50cc and 75cc volume.

*Uses 2.180``-2.20`` diameter intake valve and 1.625`` diameter exhaust valve (available from all leading valve manufacturers).

*Standard Yates intake and exhaust port location.

*Partially drilled alcohol down nozzle bosses cast into the cylinder head.

*Capable of over 400cfm intake and 273 exhaust on a certified Super Flow 1020 bench.

* Valve train components are available from your Blue Thunder dealer and your leading edge valve train manufacturers (i.e. T&D Machine Products and Jesel Valvetrain Innovations).

*Uses new state-of-the-art 2 piece Blue Thunder (3.60) intake manifold, or Yates style intake manifold.
